Paleteros For Hope

Year after year, we hear stories of street vendors being attacked, harassed, and targeted, and that stops today!

Paleteros for Hope is our way of giving back to the most vulnerable in our community. When I was a kid, I loved my local Paletero; I looked for him every time I left the house. The same goes for those who sell tamales, elotes, and so much more.

Our goal is to raise money for street vendors, for those who have been hurt, and those who need funds to take time off and rest.

With the sale of each Last Paletero on the Block comic, we will donate money to Paleteros and other street vendors who are in need.

Each Variant sale will go specifically to the vendor featured on the cover, while general comic sales will build up and go to vendors that are in need but are too afraid to come forward publicly.

A street vendor from Long Beach who was attacked in July. Eliu is recovering from serious injuries and could use support to get back on his feet after taking a necessary break.

Meet Arabelia Martinez

Arabelia was harassed and attacked in LA. Since June, Arabelia has dealt with the aftermath of a brutal public assault. We want to raise funds to help Arabelia get back on her feet and, if possible, take a break.
