As part of our on going committment to better our communities. We are donating proceeds from sales of our LAST PALETERO ON THE BLOCK comics to local street vendors who need aid.
Year after year, violence against some of the most vulnerable in our community rises, and if we don't act, it'll only get worse.
ORIGIN STORY
John Avina is a comic book author living in Chicago, IL. His past work experience includes, Wedding Photographer, Comic shop Clerk and Mortuary Assistant. John has written such titles as Lockjaw and Pistolero, Americana, and Lucha Forever.
John's writing is a reflection of his Mexican American upbringing. His stories often include Latin characters or references to Latin American pop culture.
